Sky Vineyard, anchoring
the eastern end of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, offers its
visitors a "Taste of Tuscany" in the hills of Southern Illinois.
A relative newcomer to the trail, Blue Sky opened its doors
in July of 2005. In addition to creating some of the finest
wines in the region, the relaxing atmosphere provided at the winery makes
Blue Sky Vineyard a "must do" on your visit to the Southern
Illinois region.

Sky Vineyard is open year-round, 7 days a week. Enjoy sampling
award-winning wines with our friendly staff. Tours of our facility are
available with advance notice. We offer a variety of
hearty sandwiches, and snacks, as well as wine-alternatives such as
beer and mixed drinks. Blue Sky has a large indoor seating area and two
beautiful outdoor terraces that overlook our 12-acre vineyard and the
rolling Shawnee Hills.
Picture-perfect for your next event, our Tuscan Sun event pavilion and
gazebo are ideal for any occasion. Please contact us for more

Come stay with us! Blue Sky Vineyard has two elegant suites (available
by reservation) year round for your convenience. Complete with
old-world-charm, stunning balconies, and a traditional European

From Route 13 in Carbondale, take Giant City Road south 6.7
miles and turn left (east) on Grassy Road. Go 3.0 miles and
turn right (south) on Rocky Comfort Rd. for 4 miles; follow
the blue signs.
